I Finally Married the Love of my Life

Truly a day to remember :) The BIGGEST Thank-You to all who have contributed in effort and love to make this wonderful day a memorable one.

Happy 1-Year Proposal Anniversary! LOL!

Exactly 1 year ago, Irwin planned a weekend trip and brought me to Singapore seemingly for the Great Singapore Sale and to visit the Singapore Zoo! I LOVE VISITING ZOOS! Little did I know he also had a li'l surprise install for me. Two surprises actually:- The first was bringing me for the Sky Dining Experience at Mount Faber and the second, asking me if I would be 'the last person he sees every night and the first person he will greet every morning'.

It was truly unexpected!

Today, we have exactly 14 days till we pledge our lives and love to each other on the 11th of next month. The last 12 months' worth of wedding preparation is finally gonna 'Go Live' but the feeling of actually getting married is still surreal :) Perhaps it will sink in when I finally walk down the aisles, huh?

The Birthday Girl

Just like that, I found myself celebrating my 27th birthday today -- some say, the last birthday as a single :)

Over the weekend, Irwin told me that he had cracked his head for TWO days thinking of what to get me as a gift... but finally gave up and asked me what I wanted instead. Apparently, its not easy to buy something for a girl who's already got everything, he said. Ah... excuses? :P

So I told him I wanted a card (with a letter attached -- like a love letter lah) and a couch for our new apartment :D Later on, I saw a laptop bag and I fell in love with it for many reasons -- one of them being that it doesn't even resemble a laptop bag to begin with! Its got a water bottle compartment and all these ergonomic features and padding and what-have-you-not. It's lovely! I won't look like a dork lugging it all around town after work anymore ;)

I also requested to have Italian for dinner, and over dinner, as promised, Irwin produced my much anticipated birthday card... and letter! *ooo... I teared from reading it... because my King-of-Surprises just didn't give me a card. Enclosed with the letter, I found this beautiful crucifix pendant -- with a center diamond and rubies surrounding it :) Apparently, he had purchased it many years ago as an investment; and today, he finally understood why he did what he did -- he wanted to give it to someone he truly loved. *awww* See why I teared? :)

Here's to my 27th birthday... and another wonderful year ahead!

Turning THIRTY

Seafoord dinner at Kepong with both families -- The picture looks more like it was MY birthday, rather than Irwin's :P

Irwin's last birthday as a bachelor was spent doing what he loves best (at this moment, at least) with 19 other photo-buffs and Louis Pang himself -- Malaysia's most awarded wedding photographer; at the Louis Pang Ordinary to Extraordinary Workshop this past weekend.

I also had the opportunity to be a part of the workshop by being one of the 2 female models for Louis and his participants. At the end of the 3-day workshop, I realized that its not easy being a model. Its A LOT OF HARD WORK!!! -- Sweating continuously but still having to put on my most natural smile and pose of the camera.

The amazing professional makeup artist Lee Kuen who transformed me :) I love her to bits!

This is Louis and the rest of the class singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Irwin. They made him stand up on the chair and ordered me to climb up next to him to give him a birthday kiss! :D
