Post Shanghai Update

What can I say? Shanghai was super duper amazing -- I went crazy shopping and ran out of money within the first 3 days :D The hardest part was, apart from just indulging in clothes (as I've always been for the last 26 years of living), I also had to divert some concentration to other types of shopping -- ie: Shopping for Chinese wedding stuff as well as some household stuff for our new place! Argh, the challenge! (But a good one, nevertheless) :P

Here are some of the more wedding-related things I got from Shanghai (apart from my truck load of other things)

100% Silk Quilt from Zhou Zhuang & Custom made linen
I simply loved the fabric market whereby you can choose the type of material you'd like to use and even specify its design and how many pieces (ie: pillow cases, bolster cases) you would like. Best part is that I didn't have to pay through my nose! Now I just have to wait till next year to use it :D

Red Silk PJ's & Chinese Parasols for my bridal party
Old-fashion has suddenly become my middle name! I'm banging on the idea that everything has to be done the customary Chinese way, hence the RED PJ's on the wedding eve :P
I'm imagining that it will be really hot on the wedding day, so I'm hoping that my dear girls will shield me with these pretty li'l PAPER parasols! KEKE! (Who am I kidding?) Anyways, I also got (almost) matching Chinese bamboo-paper fans. Now THAT will be practical for all of us, wouldn't it?

Double Happiness "hei" characters made of paper
Seems like I have more than enough to plaster on 5 thousand cars and every inch of our new condo! :D

9 units of candle stands
Which I hope to use at my registration tables? Not sure yet... I just bought them because they were cheap :)
